Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino spearheaded Albion’s 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace, according to Tony Pulis.
Albion’s front two caught the Baggies boss’ eye after an impressive show from the front two. Rondon and Berahino were a constant thorn for the Eagles defence as the Baggies raced into a three-goal lead.
Rondon’s shot was palmed into Craig Gardner’s path for Albion’s opener. After Craig Dawson had doubled the advantage with a header, Rondon started Albion’s move that Berahino finished with a close-range volley.
“The big thing for me were the front two. They caused so many probles. Saido dropped off, made good runs and Salomon was a handful.
“I thought we moved the ball quickly and played some smashing stuff, creating lots of chances.
“We conceded a poor goal just after half time which gave them a leg up.
“Jonas made a mistake and he was punished for him. The second goal was fantastic but I think there should have been a free-kick - a foul on McAuley - in the build up to it.
“They say they should have had a penalty, but we should have had a free-kick for their second goal.
“We're in the top six for form over the last few games and haven't lost a goal since December 18 at home. We're now on 35 points with 11 games to play.”
