Tony Pulis again reempahasised the need to stregthen Albion's squad after the Baggies 0-0 draw at home with Middlesbrough.
Albion began brightly with debutants Sam Field and Brendan Galloway catching the eye.
But after the Baggies had failed to make an early breakthrough, it became a frustrating afternoonn for Albion fans as the Pulis and his team quickly ran out of ideas.
"I have said before we need five players to come in because there are players here we need to move on who aren't going to play," said Pulis.
"There are 14 or 15 players who were here two years ago, when we were struggling near the bottom, who are fantastic and work so hard but we need to freshen up."
