Roberts rejects Wigan for Pompey

Roberts was understood to have opted for a permanent move to first division Wigan and was believed to be undergoing a medical with Paul Jewells side today.

However, Roberts has chosen instead to join Harry Redknapp's side on a season long loan deal and a move back to the Premiership.
