"Along with Rob Earnshaw, Ellington will give us more options up front. He has pace, power and can also score goals," Robson said after the 0-0 draw at Eastlands.
"We conceded 41 goals in the first half of last season and only 20 in the second. When you are strong at the back it gives you a good platform to go forward.
"It is good not to be beaten away from home and drawing here is a good start."
