Borja Valero’s future could soon be decided after his agent revealed Seville are interested in his services. Albion’s record signing spent last season back in his homeland at former club Real Mallorca after failing to make an impact at The Hawthorns and excelled in La Liga.
The former Real Madrid midfielder’s form has reportedly attracted interest from a number of clubs in Spain, including European giants Barcelona. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo has admitted Valero’s future may be away from the Baggies hinting the club will consider any reasonable offer for the £4.7 million man.
“We’ve had some talks, but there is nothing concrete,” said Valero’s agent, Alejandro Camano.
“Sevilla are very keen.
“Right now he is a West Bromwich Albion player.
“He knows he has a commitment to this club, who paid a lot of money.
“He knows that there are many teams who have kept their eyes on him, but he keeps out of all this.
“For now we must keep quiet and see what happens in the future but Sevilla are very interested.”
