Darren Moore has completed his first pre-season as Baggies boss ahead of his first competitve game in charge of Albion.
Albion kicked off their pre-season campaign at Barnet and recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory with three second half goals from Kyle Edwards and two quick fire goals from Hal Robson-Kanu.
Next up was a trip to Swindon when young winger Kyle Edwards again got on the scoresheet and helped Albion to a 3-1 victory. Goals either side of Edwards' strike from Jay Rodriguez and another youngster Kyle Jameson earned another victory for Darren Moore.
The Baggies travelled north to Aberdeen as they faced off against former fans' favourite Derek McInnes' side. Albion fielded a strong side against the Dons and earned a 1-1 draw with Jake Livermoore levelling for Albion.
Albion found themselves 2-0 quickly at Barnsley but a remarkable comeback kept their unbeaten run going. Goals in the 44th minute from Robson-Kanu, in the 47th minute from James Morrison and then an own-goal in the 52nd minute turned the game around.
Five-star Albion then finished their pre-season in style with a 5-2 victory over Coventry in the inaugrual Cyrille Regis Shield. New signing Harvey Barnes scored twice in the first ten minutes before Robson-Kanu bagged a brace before half time. Jake Livermore then capped off a free-flowing performance with a fifth after the break.
