WBA-MAD Player Ratings: Albion 4 Huddersfield 2

Albion extended their unbeaten start to the season after a hard-fought 4-2 victory over struggling Huddersfield Town.

The visitors twice took the league in the first half before the Baggies' comeback after the break.

Here's how WBA-MAD rated the players:

Sam Johnstone: Had little chance with either goals and his distribution was wayward at time. Doesn't look confident playing at The Hawthorns. 6

Darnell Furlong: How nice is it to see an attacking full back down Albion's right? Furlong set up Albion's first and then scored the second. A brilliant display from the defender.

Semi Ajayi: Was caught isolated for Huddersfield's first and his positioning could've been better for the second. Made amends with a late header. 7

Kyle Bartley: Looked confident early on after recent displays but didn't look assured after his first half error gifted Huddersfield the lead. 5

Nathan Ferguson: Another really encouraging performance from the teenager. Two superbly timed second half tackles to prevent dangerous counter attacks and one brave first half header showed he's made of the right stuff. 7

Jake Livermore: Largely anonymous from Albion's skipper. Did nearly find the net with a second half volley that the Birmingham Road End thought was in. 6

Romaine Saywers: One brilliant first half pass through to Furlong as Albion looked for goals. Didn't give up after the break either and kept the ball moving quiclky to help Albion back into the game. 6

Filip Krovinovic: Disappointing show from the Croatian who struggled to make an inpact before the break. Needs to impose himself more on games if he's to be a regular starter. Subbed at half time. 5

Matheus Pereria: Looked dangerous throughout and is quickly becoming an important player for Albion. Looks more threatening playing centrally behind the striker. 7

Matt Phillips: Equalised and then gave Albion the lead. Took his goals really cooly with slotted finishes giving the keeper no chance. Got into some good positions out wide but final ball let him down on numerous occasions. 8

Charlie Austin: Had one header that was saved but apart from that he offered little in front of goal. Austin's build up play is neat and tidy but he's often left out wide when he should be playing between the posts. Needs a goal. 6

SUBS

Grady Diagana: What a 45 minute cameo appearance from the West Ham winger. Set up Albion's equaliser with a tempting cross before going on a mazy run to set up Phillips' second. Always looked dangerous. 8

Kenneth Zohore: Happy to put himself about when he came on but didn't have any opportunities in front of goal. 6

Hal Robson-Kanu: Came on for the final few minutes as Albion were seeing the game out. 6
