Albion's good form continued as they brushed aside struggling Southampton.
Matheus Pereira and Matt Phillips scored in the first half before Callum Robinson netted his third goal in two games.
Sam Johnstone then saved a late penalty. Here's our ratings against the Saints:
Sam Johnstone - 8
A spectator in the first half and was hardly tested after the break as the Saints pushed forward. Made a late eye-catching penalty save.
Darnell Furlong - 8
Has struggled at times in 1-on-1 situations this term but was excellent against the Saints make one brilliant last-ditch tackle. Getting better with each game.
Kyle Bartley - 8
Has really stepped up with the captain's armband on and was immense against Southampton heading everything away. Went off with an injury which hopefully isn't too serious.
Dara O'Shea - 7
Another who was all at sea early in the season but has drastically improved under Allardyce.
Conor Townsend - 6
Wasn't as effective going forward and gave away a late, rash penalty.
Okay Yokuslu - 6
Has set extremely high standards which he didn't quite reach against the Saints. Set up Robinson's goal with a smart through ball.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles - 8 MOTM
Drove Albion forward and set up Pereira for Albion's penalty. Was moved to the left but still had an influence. His best game in the stripes.
Matt Phillips - 8
His best game in an Albion shirt for a long, long time. Offered pace, power and positivity that was sadly missing at the start of the season. Took his goal well.
Matheus Pereira - 8
Looks so much more threatening and comfortable playing through the middle. Won a penalty and then smashed home the spot kick.
Mbaye Diagne - 7
Should've been awarded a goal with a close range header that was wrongly ruled out by VAR. Then missed a sitter when clear through.
