West Brom reject Kamara request
West Brom have rejected a transfer request from Diomansy Kamara and say they will not leave The Hawthorns unless the price is right. The Baggies have already turned down bids from Fulham and Birmingham City for the 27-year-old Senegal international this summer. "We have made our position clear," said West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace. "None of our players will leave unless we receive offers which are too good to turn down and the deal us." Kamara, who scored 23 goals for the Baggies in the Championship last season, has two years left on his current contract. "I am disappointed to receive a transfer request from Diomansy because I enjoyed working with him so much last season. We would need a head-turning offer before we even consider letting him go," West Brom boss Tony Mowbray added.
