Alex Palmer will battle it out next season to be Plymouth Argyle's No.1 after joining the League Two club on loan.
The giant 22-year-old has signed a season long loan at Home Park after a series of loans over the past few seasons.
Palmer is now hoping to gain more experience on the south coast as he looks to make more first team appearances.
“Hopefully, I can cement myself in the team and get a good long run, which is what I need," Palmer told Plymouth's official website.
“I will be looking to do my best for Argyle. This is a massive club with a lot of history, and you play football to play in front of crowds.
“I imagine that, when it comes to the first home game of the season, it will be rocking; and the away fans, when they travel, are among the best around.”
Meanwhile, a number of other promising youngsters have signed their first professional deals at the club.
Finn Azaz, George Harmon, Jack Chambers, Nick Clayton-Phillips, Dan Meredith and Sam Wilding have all signed professional terms.
