Slaven Bilic was left disappointed as he watched his Albion side concede a late equaliser at Barnsley - but admits a draw was a fair result.
Albion went in the lead in the 5th minute when Filip Krovinovic opened his account for the club when he took advantage of Tykes 'keeper Samuel Sahin-Radlinger poor clearance.
But on a ground where Albion have failed to win since 1947, Bilic's men failed to create any other significant chances with Sam Johnstone the busier of the two goalkeepers.
“It is disappointing because we conceded a very late goal but to be fair they deserved it,” Bilic said in his pre-match press conference to the club's official website. .
“We went one up and then in the first half especially, but also in the second half, we had many situations where we came out of pressing and we were rushing and we were offside a few times when it was an open pitch for us and we didn’t have to rush into those positions but we did.
“We couldn’t kill the game off and then when it looked like they had stopped creating - they have attacks but not really dangerous ones, when we felt we had made it, unfortunately we concede the goal. We are not happy that we did but we have to take the point.
“Maybe the guys are a bit fatigued. In the last few games we have had three draws and one win. We are trying to recover the players and refresh them. It is a very busy period.
“We lost a little bit of fluidness in our game, also we have to give credit to our opponent, but we have to take it back and bring it back in our next home game against Middlesbrough.”
